Torture Time...I mean Tummy Time
We've been doing tummy time about 3 times a day now. Sometimes she likes it, sometimes not so much!
BUT she is getting stronger! Watch her pick up her big head and turn it :)
I always tell her I *know* it must be hard work to lift that head up with those adorable chubby cheeks of hers!

Makenna's First Smiles
Most of Makenn's days have been spent sleeping and nursing (and crying!). Thankfully, we are beginning to figure each other out, and are now having more and more happy and alert times every day.
She was in such a good mood, that I decided to catch her smiles on camera to show daddy when he got home from work. She is just too cute!

1 month old!
I can't believe how fast this first month has gone by! Makenna is getting so big already. At her 1 month check up she weighed in at 10lbs, 22 inches long, and 14.5 in. head! She also got her second Hep shot.
She is becoming more alert everyday, even opening her eyes for long periods and smiling at mommy and daddy! She is also starting to lift her head and turn it side to side while doing tummy time.
Don't grow up too fast baby girl!
